The Carry Clip came about as I looked for an alternative, easy, convenient way to carry an extra magazine for my LCP.

After much searching and looking at holsters, I wasn't satisfied with what I had found.

Holsters added too much bulk and seemed too cumbersome for daily carrying.

What was needed was a way to just keep the magazine at the top of the pocket, where it is easy to grab if necessary.

An idea was born...

After trying a couple prototypes, I started carrying my spare magazine with my clip.

Each time I showed it to a fellow gun guy or gal, they wanted one.

It's just a “that makes sense” type of a thing.

If you are going to conceal carry, carry enough ammo to take care of yourself...

Don't be wishing for more ammo...

Carry Clip is the option to a bulky magazine holster...

Thanks for looking at the Carry Clip, hope it works for you as well as it has for me...

Oh, FYI, Carry Clip was named to add to the "Magazine vs clip" Debate...

It's a clip for your MAGAZINE!!!

A clip goes in your hair, or on your magazine.....

First things first. We need to talk about which side of the pistol you want the Carry Clip to come up on.

The left and right Carry Clip has nothing to do with the dominant hand of the user. It has to do with which side of the pistol the Carry Clip will come up on when the magazine with the Carry Clip is inserted into the pistol.

A left side Carry Clip will come up between the thumb and pistol for a right handed user.

But that means that the rounds are facing backwards in your left pocket.

This is not the traditional way of carrying a magazine.

For a right hander to carry with the rounds forward in their left pocket, the Carry Clip will come between your palm and the pistol. A right side Carry Clip is needed.. Traditional, rounds facing forward.

For a right hander to carry with the rounds to their back in their left pocket, the Carry Clip will be on the thumb side of the pistol. A left side Carry Clip is needed.. Non-traditional rounds facing rear.

For a left hander to carry with the rounds forward in their right pocket, the Carry Clip will come between your palm and the pistol. A left side Carry Clip is needed.. Traditional, rounds facing forward.

For a left hander to carry with the rounds to their back in their right pocket, the Carry Clip will be on the thumb side of the pistol. A right side Carry Clip is needed.. Non-traditional rounds facing rear.

I have customers who have used it both ways and some like the left and others like the right....

To me, since I wasn't trained to have rounds forward the non-traditional way to use a Carry Clip make sense, as it's easier for me to move my thumb to allow the magazine with the Carry Clip to be loaded. Rather than having to open my grip on the gun enough to allow the Carry Clip to come up between my palm and the weapon. I have to move my thumb a bit on my small frame LCP, but on my larger frame Taurus, my thumb isn't in the way of loading the magazine with the Carry Clip at all...

As with anything firearms related train with it so that you can use it when needed, instead of trying to figure it out when the time it's needed is at hand...

So think about which side will be best for you... All Carry Clips are available in Left or Right side configuration.

***Carry Clips work with magazines with a flat bottom plate. Magazines with finger extensions may require modification to give a flat side for the Carry Clip to mount properly.***
